July 2013 London Film and Comic Con - Complete!

So the last weekend was London Film and Comic Con at Earls' Court - a venue which has surprisingly effective air con and fought well against the searing heat outside.

As ever thanks to everyone who dropped by.  There were a couple of returning people who came for more of my comics which is seriously the biggest compliment you guys can give. Thanks! :-)

My next event is up north in Manchester for their MCM Comic Con in just over a week.  It will be my first time attending as I rarely seem to escape the London events.  Treat me gently! ;-D

May 2013 MCM Comic Con - Complete!

So last weekend was another London MCM event in the bag.  As usual it's drawing me of all my energy and I'm currently lying around in a wrecked heap.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by.  Japanofail continued its dominance as being my most popular comic as issue 7 sold best out of everything.  Thief's Affair 2 and Cosplay Kerfuffle also started to find some new homes too so a bit of an all-rounder as event sales go. :-)

I'm always grateful for the support you guys show.  Hope you stay tuned for future events and future comics!

May 2013 London Comic Con Preparation!

So once again I'll be attending London Comic Con which starts... tomorrow!  I thought I'd do a quick run-down of what I'll be doing there.

All of my comics are still in print and will be available on my table.  So if you're behind on any of me series or are wanting to fill gaps, you will have to chance to fix that. :-)

If you've been following my progression closely, you'll know I have 3 comics appearing at this event for the first time.  They are:

Cosplay Kerfuffle: A self-contained comedy about a group of cosplayers. (it debuted at Super London Comic Con a couple months back, but it's still quite new and is worthy of your attention)

Japanofail 7: More cynical!  More brutal! (more kittens)  More fail!

The Thief's Affair 2: The ongoing adventures of Jack as he continues to attempt to dodge what unfortunate incidents fate chooses to throw at him.

If you're attending feel free to pop over and say hi.  I can be found in the rear area of the hall in the Comic Village on table K10.  I've made a little map and highlighted my spot:

Thief's Affair Issue 2

It's been over a year since the first issue of The Thief's Affair, but I've finally gotten around to finishing the next one!  To try and make up for the delay, issue 2 contains two chapters and feels a little more chunky and satisfying to hold.  More adventures in the city of Londra, as Jack finds himself in quite a tricky situation that will only escalate no matter what he tries.

Issue 1 is still available, so if you're new to the series it won't be hard to catch up!  Please keep an eye out for it at any of the comic events I'm attending throughout the year.

Japanofail 7

All ready to go from MCM Comic Con at the of the month is Japanofail 7 - another dose of the crazy, the misdirected and the just plain stupid.  If you liked the others you'll probably like this one too!

If you're new to Japanofail however issues 1-3 and some of 4 are available to read online here.  Of course you can always come and have a look in person as well.

Winter is over!

It's been a while since the last update, but as the sun's finally emerged from winter, so have I.  I've been busy the last couple of months booking events and working on new comics.  Curent new events that I'll be attending are:

MCM London Comic Con - 24-6th May

London Film and Comic Con - 5-7th July

MCM Manchester Comic Con - 20th July

I have my eye on one or two other events, but these are the 100% confirmed ones for the time being. :-)  I'm especially excited to be visiting Manchester as it's the first time I've visited that event.

I'm also working on two comics right now.  Hopefully they'll both be ready in time for May, but for now I'll just say they're coming on and the next 2-3 weeks will be quite busy for me hahahaa.  The preview above is for Japanofail 7, which I suppose constitutes as a new comic announcement.  Will keep you posted over the coming weeks!

LSCC 2013 - Complete!

So yeah London Super Comic Con was a weeks ago.  It was a good event, to which I would've mentioned earlier were it not for the fact that there was a demon virus flying around the convention hall, effectively wiping out half the attendance in the following days.  Am mostly recovered now, and if you got hit too I hope you're better as well.  Cosplay Kerfuffle had a positive launch, and I am hoping it will continue to do well at future events...

...which bring me to a certain point. I'm not currently booked up for any future events!  There are definitely specific places I want to bring my comics to, and others I'm not so sure about, but until booking open up there's little to be done in any case.  While we wait, if anyone has any suggestions or requests for events you'd like to see me at, please let us know either here or on my facebook page, and I can see if it's feasible.

Come what may I will be on the eye out for events, both the usual and perhaps one or two more unexpected places.  I'll keep you posted. :-)
